Theia announces the successful refinancing of 19MWp Solar PV Italian portfolio with Intesa Sanpaolo

Theia has completed the first round of refinancing of its Italian portfolio, in partnership with Intesa Sanpaolo – IMI Corporate & Investment Banking (ISP).

The financed portfolio consists of 23 plants, for a total power of approximatively 19MWp, owned by 14 SPVs.

Theia team, commented:

The refinancing of this portfolio consolidates our growing strategy that foresees a significant commitment to the Italian renewable market in the months and years to come”.

Theia was assisted by ValeCap as financial advisor, Orrick as legal advisor, ICFC as Tax and Finance advisor, Moroni and Partners as technical advisor, and Wide Group as insurance advisor.

ISP was supported by DLA Piper as legal advisor and KPMG as Tax and Finance advisor.

Theia, backed by institutional investors, was established with the goal of acquiring and operating European renewable energy assets, with a particular focus on assets where Theia can add value through operational and financial optimization, leveraging the team’s deep experience in the sector.
